Family Fun
The Pocono mountains cover 2,400 square miles of scenic beauty with 261 trails of hiking.  The Pocono Mountains is as perfect as ever for letting Mother Nature show the way. Camping from rustic cabins to tent sites. From whitewater rafting for the teenagers to canoeing in rivers or lakes for the kids to fishing for dad.  Take the little ones on water rides to Shawnee Place, or for the more adventurous, try the outdoor water park at Camelbaeach. Children of all ages can even soak themselves year round at an indoor waterpark resort. Local Parks for  go-karting, mini golf, carnival rides and roller skating have a way of making parents feel like kids again. Same goes for the zoo in the woods at Claws N’ Paws Wild Animal Park.   Family accommodations, we were recommend the Sky Top Lodge and The Great Wolf Lodge ( has largest indoor waterpark)

Educational
Learning can be fun too. There’s plenty of heritage in these parts, via a rail ride down into the No. 9 Mine and Musuem and the aritifacts used by the Delaware Indians at the Pocono Indian Museum.

The Pocono Mountains boasts a variety of accommodations to suit every girlfriend’s getaway.  Where else can you hike a waterfall misted trail through sweet-scented woods, rejuvenate with a massage follow up with an afternoon of outlet shopping and then reminisce over drinks on a flower filled desk while the sun sets behind endless green mountains?
