About Us

Deryn Higgins has worked in the travel industry since 1984. After completing a Tourism/Travel Degree with Becker College in Massachusetts, Deryn joined L.P. Gutteridge and was employed there for 14 years, until they merged with Kitson Travel.

After two years in the exempt company and hotel industry, Deryn decided to go into partnership at Global Travel Limited. Deryn specialises in Group and Corporate travel.

Kathy Faries has about 30 years of valuable experience in the travel industry. She started as a flight attendant and eventually became Assistant Manager at Kitson's Travel. She is friendly and knowledgeable in all areas of the industry, including tours, cruising, air and corporate travel.

Anna Finkbeiner has been in the travel industry for over 25 years - approximately 21 years with the airlines and the last 8 years at Global Travel.

Claire Ingham has extensive experience in the business industry. She is the Office Administrator at Global Travel.

Estelle Knights has been in the travel business for five years and has travelled to the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

She is willing to help with all your travel arrangements from air to train and cruising.

Estelle is an outside agent who works in the office at Somer's Wharf, St. George's.

Barbara Bean Lowe has been in the business for over 20 years, off and on. She can take care of all aspects of travle but mostly enjoys dealing with groups, both small and large, young and old, church, sports and familes.

Barbara has travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean, North and South America, Canada, Europe and the Far East. Barbara is an outside agent who works in the office at Somer's Wharf, St. George's.

Barbara Harrington has worked in the airline industry for 16 years with British Airways, continental and Air Canada. She brings a wealth of knowledge about travel in North America, UK and Europe and has traveled extensively throughout these areas. Barbara’s experience with working with the public making travel arrangements is a great asset to Global Travel.

Rebecca Corday has worked in the travel industry since 1995. After eight years of working at an exempt company in the travel department and a brief step into the corporate world, she has decided to return to her passion and joins Global Travel with enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge in corporate travel.

Samantha Hayward After taking a brief hiatus from the travel industry, Samantha has joined Global Travel ready to assist with all of your travel requirements. She brings with her 7 years experience gained whilst employed with Air Canada and British Airways. While her primary expertise lay in travel within North America and the Caribbea,n she is willing and able to assist Global Travel’s valued clientele in whatever travel requirements they may have.

IMPORTANT AIRLINE INFORMATION

US Airways and American Airlines Baggage Policy

US Airways and American will charge $15.00 for your first checked piece of luggage for flights booked or ticketed after July 9.


This fee will be assessed on all Bermuda flights as well as flights to and from Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America.


US Airways and United Airlines Baggage Policy

For every ticketed passenger, US Airways and United will allow one checked bag ( no more that 50 lbs) and one carry on.
A second bag may be taken up to 50 lbs for a fee of $25.00. A bag of 51 pounds – 70 pounds will be charged 75.00.


Continental Airlines - Unaccompanied Minors
A fee of $75, one way, itinerary for non stop travel and a fee of $100, one way, itinerary with connecting flight[s] will be charged. Fees are per child.
